But let me assure you, this isn’t some kind of sudden reversal of the natural order of things. Oh, my, no. This is a perfectly normal reaction to a President in the middle of a poor sixth year. Barack Obama ain’t nothing special.
A majority of voters say the Obama administration is less competent than Bill Clinton’s and a plurality say it is less competent than George W. Bush’s according to a new Fox News poll released Wednesday.
Sixty-eight percent say the Obama administration is less competent that the Clinton administration. Forty-eight percent say it is less competent than Bush’s, compared to 42 percent who say it is more competent. Seven percent judge Obama’s and Bush’s the same.
Let me repeat that, simply because seeing those words will flay at the souls of various and sundry individuals: Barack Obama ain’t nobody special. Just this average sort of guy who can’t hack the job that he’s doing. Which is why at this point Barack Obama is pretty much visibly counting the days until he can retire.
So say we all.
